The hull of the Pelagos was built at Flohr Metal in Seattle, which is not on the water. The house and mast were added at Pacific Fishermen, who also did the outfitting.
Power lines had to be removed for several blocks to make way for its passage to Foss where it was launched.
It doesn't take long for the paint to wear off. The large rusty spot on the side is where the crab pots come up.
